What Is WealthPath
WealthPath was built on proactive, year-round tax strategy. We don’t wait until April of next year to tell you what could have been, or what you missed. We build comprehensive tax strategies for retirees and pre-retirees, that optimize the opportunities retirement provides, and mitigates the risks that come with it.
Simply put, the WealthPath Retirement Tax System reduces lifetime tax waste, protecting your hard earned wealth so it can be put to a more meaningful purpose. Whether you work with a financial advisor, had a single consultation with a retirement counselor through work, or are simply hoping you have enough assets to support retirement, our comprehensive tax plan helps you pay as little tax as possible in retirement, and allows you to enjoy retirement without ever worrying about income taxes again.
Here's what you get with WealthPath CPAs & Advisors:
Proactive Retirement Tax Planning: We don’t wait until tax season to tell you what happened. We help you plan ahead, identify tax opportunities early, and make informed retirement decisions before the year is over.
Long-Term Tax Strategy: Retirement tax planning must look many years ahead to effectively capture opportunities, and mitigate risks. We build strategies around retirement income, Roth conversions, RMDs, Social Security taxation, Medicare thresholds, charitable giving, and legacy goals.
Retirement Income Coordination: We don’t follow a standard withdrawal structure. We help coordinate taxable, tax-deferred, and tax-free accounts to support your lifestyle while managing current taxes and future tax exposure.
No-Surprise Tax Projections: Know where you stand before filing season begins. We project your tax picture throughout the year so you can manage withdrawals, Roth conversions, withholding, and other income decisions with greater confidence.
1-on-1 Advisory Relationship: You work directly with a CPA who understands your retirement goals, income needs, account mix, family priorities, and long-term tax concerns — not a rotating cast of preparers who only show up in April.
Quantified Recommendations: We don’t tell you to take our word for it. We put numbers behind our advice so you can understand the projected tax impact, cash flow effect, and long-term value of each planning recommendation.
Responsive Year-Round Support: No more feeling ignored until deadlines approach. Our clients receive timely communication and ongoing support as retirement decisions arise throughout the year.
A True Retirement Tax Partner: WealthPath is built for those who want more than tax compliance. We provide the guidance, structure, and strategy to help you protect your wealth, preserve your legacy, and make confident decisions throughout retirement.

Ellen C.
Finally found a CPA that worked when she needed them
I can’t speak highly enough about working with Andrew and the team at WealthPath. Having worked with a few CPAs in the past, I was hesitant that this would be more of the same. The detail they put into my tax plan was beyond expectations, and they are so helpful in explaining things in an easy to understand manner.
Vince & Beverly T.
Discovered ways to smooth their income to reduce the RMD spike
We highly recommend Andrew and WealthPath CPAs & Advisors. Having a financial background, we knew RMDs would be a big tax hit when we reached RMD age. Andrew’s strategies spread that burden over several years keeping us out of those higher brackets. We couldn’t have done it without WealthPath.
Greg & Mary H.
Saw significant ROI by working with WealthPath
We can honestly say that Andrew & WealthPath has provided the best return on any investment we’ve made. We were a little hesitant being so far away, but their patience and easy electronic systems made working with them a breeze.
Bonnie S.
Felt added security by working with WealthPath & our partners
Andrew did such as great job of building my tax plan. Since losing my husband a few years ago, I didn’t have much direction financially. Andrew explained the benefit of every move we made, and even connected me with an excellent financial advisor. 5-stars, highly recommend!
Shawn B.
Added confidence to his early retirement journey
As excited as I was to retire early, I didn’t know how taxes would impact my savings. The strategies that Andrew recommended not only saved me a ton, but gave me the confidence to make that leap into retirement to pursue other passions.
Bill & Linda M.
Identified tax savings to use toward their giving goals
We found Andrew when we were looking for some advice around giving money to our grandchildren. The tax savings he discovered were beyond our wildest expectations. He gave us the confidence to continue giving to family and charity, simply by providing us such a detailed plan.
Paul & Cindy T.
Built a tax plan that supported his comprehensive financial plan
Our wealth advisor of many years recommended that we find a good CPA to help build a tax strategy around our retirement. We truly feel like the plan that Andrew built for us was the missing piece to our retirement plan, and gave us the ability to provide more meaningful experiences for our family.

Common Questions
I already have a CPA, is this different?
Unlike WealthPath, most CPAs don’t do proactive tax planning. They meet with their clients once, or maybe twice, a year, prepare, and file their tax returns. Our proactive approach includes scheduled touchpoints during the year, detailed tax projections so you know where you stand throughout the year, and specialized strategy implementation before the year is over, and it’s too late.
If your current CPA handles your tax preparation and filing, you can absolutely continue working with them. Each of our service models comes with tax preparation, so if you also want a new team for tax prep, we do that too, but only for clients building proactive strategies with us.
I already have a wealth advisor, don't they do tax planning?
Many wealth advisors only handle investments, and generalized financial planning. Even wealth advisors that provide comprehensive financial planning recommend that you work with a CPA for tax planning and preparation.
At WealthPath, we aren’t a replacement to your wealth advisor. We work directly with your wealth advisor to make sure investments, financial planning, and tax planning are all in sync.
How much can I actually save?
The potential savings depend on your account mix, income sources, retirement timeline, tax brackets, and implementation. For households with meaningful retirement assets, the value of coordinated tax planning can be substantial, especially when Roth conversions, RMD planning, Medicare thresholds, and survivor tax exposure are optimized.
A simplified example of how we save you money: Let’s assume your future RMDs would push you into the 32% bracket. We utilize some of funds subject to RMDs ahead of RMD age with regular distributions or a Roth conversion when you’re in the 22% or 24% bracket. Since we are using those funds at a lower tax rate, you’re saving 8%-10% on that one transaction. Assuming that distribution or conversion is for $100,000, that’s $8,000 – $10,000 in federal tax savings on a single transaction. And that’s just scratching the surface of what we can do.
How much do I have to do?
From information gathering to implementation, we offer white glove service from start to finish. Our action item delivery process is simple:
- If we can do it for you, we will.
- If we can’t do it for you, we’ll do it with you.
- If you prefer to do it alone, we’ll confirm you completed it.
In most situations, if you provide us with consent to work with them, we will request information directly from your wealth advisor or other financial professionals, and communicate results with them directly. We’re here to give you more freedom in retirement, not add extra stress to it.
Do you have a physical office or is this fully virtual?
To allow us to work with and help retirees from around the country, we have built a secure, fully-virtual delivery process. From industry-leading video conferencing solutions, to a fully-encrypted client portal featuring online and mobile app access, our process makes it simple to work with us wherever you live or are currently traveling to.
On top of this, we offer the same white glove service as we do with our advice delivery. If you don’t feel confident with technology, we will walk-through our process together from start to finish, to make sure you are comfortable using our system.
